Muscat: HH The Honourable lady, spouse of His Majesty the Sultan, congratulated mothers in the Sultanate of Oman and the world on the occasion of Mother’s Day.
The congratulations text reads as follows: “I am pleased to congratulate the dear mothers in our beloved country and the mothers of the entire world on the occasion of Mother’s Day, which falls on 21 of March every year, wishing them goodness, success, and safe and reassured life. I hope that they make grater and more effective contributions to all development programmes and areas of life.
Celebrating this day is nothing but enhancing the meanings of gratitude and reverence, intensifying feelings of love and pride, and further highlighting the roles of the great mother and their high standing that was recommended to us by Allah the Almighty and Prophet Muhammed (PBUH)
On this occasion, as we experience the blessed days of the holy month of Ramadan, the month of goodness, mercy and benevolence, we pray to Allah the Almighty to protect mothers in all parts of the earth, especially in the occupied Palestine and to bless them with peace, security and liberation.
