Oman’s Higher Education and Sohar University sign a cooperation programme on professional data exchange

Muscat: The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and Sohar University today signed a cooperation programme to promote and develop the exchange of professional information.

The programme was inked by Dr. Muna Salim Al Jardani, the Ministry’s Undersecretary for Vocational Training, and Dr. Hamdan Suleiman Al Fazari, Vice Chancellor of Sohar University.

Through the programme, the Ministry will benefit from Sohar University’s experience in the field of listing qualifications in the National Qualifications Framework. The Ministry will also take insights from the university’s practices in the field of quality assurance, including institutional accreditation, policy reviews and incubators.

The programme also helps in organizing events, research and innovation activities, and training operations.
