Higher education signs MoC with data mine company

Muscat: The Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, represented by the Omani Network for Scientific Research and Education (OMRN), signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Data Mine Company.

The memorandum will allow the network to benefit from the services of the platform in creating various questionnaires, forms and opinion polls, and working to raise their efficiency through a number of verification orders, in addition to creating an unlimited number of them, and sending them via text messages and e-mail.

The “Istibyan” platform works to find the necessary support in the process of collecting quantitative and qualitative data by creating a questionnaire according to the type of data, as it contains different types of questions according to the data to be collected, and based on the type of questions that are required to be obtained from various sources.

The platform has a number of characteristics, including a descriptive analysis of the questionnaire questions through various graphs, frequency tables, and composite tables with more than two variables, and thus it is a tool for data collection and analysis. The agreement was signed on the part of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, Salah bin Sumar Al Zadjali, Director General of Programs and Capacity Building, and on behalf of the Data Mine Company, Hamad bin Rashid Al Mushrafi, CEO of the company.
