Hijri New Year: Oman Across Ages Museum welcomes more than 7700 visitors

Muscat: The Oman Across Ages Museum witnessed on the first day of the Hijri new year a large numbers of 7,708 visitors from various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.

Nasser bin Saeed Al Riyami, Head of Visitor Services Department at the Oman Museum over time, explained that the number of visitors was not expected and a number of measures were taken to facilitate the movement of visitors inside the museum. Including assigning an additional number of employees to facilitate the movement of visitors and the services provided to them, answering inquiries and directing them inside the museum exhibition halls, and explaining the mechanism of work of interactive devices.

The museum administration is working to facilitate the procedures for booking tickets to enter the museum exhibition halls for visitors. Through the development of the ticketing platform, which will soon be available to the public, self-service ticketing machines will also be added, which would add a unique experience to museum visitors.

It is worth noting that the museum exhibition halls receive visitors from Saturday to Thursday from nine in the morning until five in the evening, and on Friday from one thirty in the afternoon until seven in the evening.
