His Majesty affirms Oman’s solidarity with the Palestinian People

Muscat: His Majesty the Sultan affirmed, during the Council of Ministers meeting, the Sultanate of Oman’s solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people and support of all efforts calling for stopping the escalation and attacks on children and innocent civilians and releasing prisoners in accordance with the principles of international humanitarian law, and the need for the international community to fulfill its responsibilities to protect civilians, ensure their humanitarian needs, and lift the siege.

Unlawful action against Gaza and the rest of the Palestinian territories, and the resumption of the peace process to enable the Palestinian people to regain all their legitimate rights by establishing their independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with the principle of the two-state solution, the Arab Peace Initiative, and all relevant UN resolutions.
