His Majesty concludes Iran visit

Tehran: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik left Tehran this afternoon, following an official two-day visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

His Majesty the Sultan was seen off at Mehrabad International Airport by Mohammed Mokhber, First Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ehsan Khandozi, Minister of Economic and Financial Affairs (Head of the Mission of Honour), Ali Najafi Khoshroudi, Ambassador of Iran to Oman and Ibrahim bin Ahmed Al Mu’aini, Ambassador of Oman to Iran.

Meanwhile, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of thanks to President Dr. Ebrahim Raisi of Iran.

In the cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere appreciation to President Raisi for the warm welcome and hospitability.

His Majesty the Sultan lauded the fruitful outcome of the visit, session of talks and meetings. These, said His Majesty, will have a positive impact on enhancing the deep-rooted ties of friendship between the two countries to serve the joint interests of the Omani and Iranian peoples.

His Majesty the Sultan prayed to Allah the Almighty to protect President Raisi and grant him good health, long life and success to achieve further aspirations of progress and prosperity for the Iranian people.

During his visit, His Majesty the Sultan was accompanied by a high-ranking official delegation that comprised HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, Abdussalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority, Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, Eng. Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis Al Ra’eesi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces, ambassador at large Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Hinai and Ibrahim bin Ahmed Al Mu’aini, Ambassador of Oman to Iran. – ONA
