    Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a cable of thanks from Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, in reply to His Majesty’s congratulatory cable to him on the occasion of assuming the reins of power in his country.

    In the cable, Sheikh Mishal expressed his utmost appreciation to His Majesty the Sultan’s heartfelt sentiments. He lauded the historic and fraternal relations between Oman and Kuwait. The Emir of Kuwait also prayed to Allah the Almighty to grant His Majesty continuous good health and wellbeing and the Omani people further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty.  – ONA
