His Majesty receives credentials of Ambassadors

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received, separately, at Al Barakah Palace today credentials of Ambassadors of several countries appointed to the Sultanate of Oman.

His Majesty the Sultan received credentials of the following ambassadors:

– Noralizan Abdula Momin, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the Sultanate of Oman.

– Hajer Amr Al-Nami, Ambassador of Libya to the Sultanate of Oman.

– Dr. Liane Saunders, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Sultanate of Oman.

– Christophe Ceska, Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to the Sultanate of Oman.

– Dirk Lölke, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Sultanate of Oman.

– Raul Hernandez, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the Sultanate of Oman.

– Dr. Mohammed Ali Boughazi, Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Sultanate of Oman.

– Fatma Mohammed Rajab, Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania to the Sultanate of Oman.

During their side meetings with His Majesty the Sultan, the ambassadors conveyed greetings of their countries’ leaders and their best wishes of good health, happiness and a long life to His Majesty. They also wished the Omani people further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty.

They also expressed their great honour and delight at presenting their credentials to His Majesty the Sultan. They affirmed to exert sincere efforts to promote relations of their respective countries with Oman in various spheres in a manner that serves the joint interests of the Omani people and their countries’ citizens.

His Majesty the Sultan welcomed the ambassadors, expressing his gratitude for their leaders’ greetings and best wishes.His Majesty affirmed that they would receive all support from him, the Government and the Omani people to facilitate carrying out their duties.

The credentials presentation ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, the Foreign Minister, the Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman, the Head of the Royal Protocols and the Military Aides to His Majesty the Sultan. – ONA
