His Majesty receives credentials of nine new ambassadors to Oman

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received, separately, at Al Barakah Palace today credentials of a number of ambassadors of Arab and friendly countries accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.

His Majesty the Sultan received credentials of the following ambassadors:

– Aidarbek Toumatov, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of President Kassym Jomart Tokayev of the Republic of Kazakhstan, accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.

– Francisco Javier de Isturiz, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of king Philip VI of the Kingdom of Spain, accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.

– Bashir Hassan Haji, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of the Federal Republic of Somalia, accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.

– Rashad Ismayilov, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of President Dr. Ilham Heydar Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan, accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.

– Nabil Hajlaoui, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of President Emmanuel Macron of the French Republic, accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.

– Agis Loizou, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of President Nikos Christodoulides of the Republic of Cyprus, accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.

– Abdi Aden Korio, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of President Dr. William Ruto of the Republic of Kenya, accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.

– Tharwah Neimat, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.

– Ibrahim Saad Ibrahim Bishan, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.

The ambassadors conveyed greetings of their countries’ leaders to His Majesty the Sultan. They also underscored their keenness to enhance relations of cooperation, investments and partnerships in all fields.

His Majesty the Sultan welcomed the ambassadors, expressing his appreciation for their leaders’ best wishes and heartfelt sentiments, wishing the ambassadors success in carrying out their duties.

His Majesty also affirmed that they will receive support from the government in order for them to carry out their duties in a bid to achieve desired joint objectives and goals.

The credentials presentation ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, the Foreign Minister, the Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman, the Head of the Royal Protocols, and the Military Aides to His Majesty the Sultan.
