    • His Majesty Receives Thanks Cable from IFSWF Participants

    Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a cable of thanks and appreciation from the participants in the 16th Annual Meeting of the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds (IFSWF), which was held in Muscat during 3-6 November.

    They expressed their utmost thanks and appreciation to His Majesty for the warm welcome and hospitality.

    The participants in the forum, which was the largest gathering in its history since inception in 2009, lauded the efforts exerted by Oman Investment Authority for the success of the event.They also expressed their admiration over the Authority’s achievements in the field of governance, sustainability and transparency at the highest standards in accordance with the Santiago Principles emanating from the Forum.

    They also valued the great interest they saw from government institutions in making the meeting’s activities a success, looking forward to the outcomes of the conference accompanying the meeting contributing to strengthening the partnership between the members.
