Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a written message from Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India, dealing with various aspects of cooperation between Oman and India, in the context of ardent bilateral relations binding the two countries.

His Majesty the Sultan received the message when he gave an audience to Ajit Doval, National Security Advisor to the Republic of India, at Al Baraka Palace today.

During the meeting, the guest conveyed to His Majesty the Sultan the greetings of the Indian Prime Minister, along with the premier’s wishes of progress and prosperity for Oman.

On his turn, His Majesty the Sultan asked the guest to convey his greetings to the Indian Prime Minister, as well as His Majesty the Sultan’s wishes of further progress and prosperity to the Indian Republic.

During the meeting, His Majesty the Sultan and the guest exchanged cordial talks and reviewed bilateral relations between Oman and India. They also explored means of expanding these relations in all fields and exchanged views about various issues of common interest.

The audience was attended by Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office. – ONA
