Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received, separately, at Al Barakah Palace today credentials of Ambassadors of several countries appointed to the Sultanate of Oman.
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received credentials of the following ambassadors:
– Guillermo Emilio Nielsen, Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to the Sultanate of Oman
– Eitvydas Bajarūnas, Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the Sultanate of Oman
– Ingrid Amer, Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to the Sultanate of Oman
– Gerard Cunningham, Ambassador of the Republic of Ireland to the Sultanate of Oman
– Mohammad Habibu Tijani, Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana to the Sultanate of Oman
– Anu Eerika Viljanen, Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to the Sultanate of Oman
– Nelson Yemil Chaben Labadie, Ambassador of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay to the Sultanate of Oman
– Petra Menander, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Sultanate of Oman.
During their sidelines meetings with His Majesty the Sultan, the ambassadors conveyed greetings of their countries’ leaders and their best wishes of good health, happiness and a long life to His Majesty.
They also wished the Omani people further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty. They also expressed their great honour and delight at presenting their credentials to His Majesty the Sultan. They affirmed to exert sincere efforts to promote relations of their respective countries with Oman in various spheres in a manner that serves the joint interests of the Omani people and their countries’ citizens.
His Majesty the Sultan welcomed the ambassadors, expressing his gratitude for their leaders’ greetings and best wishes. His Majesty affirmed that they would receive all support from him, the Government and the Omani people to facilitate carrying out their duties.
The credentials presentation ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, the Foreign Minister, the Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman, the Head of the Royal Protocols and the Military Aides to His Majesty the Sultan. – ONA
