    Muscat:His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Monday 19th June 2023 received, separately, at Al Barakah Palace today, credentials of Ambassadors of several countries appointed to the Sultanate of Oman.

    His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received credentials of the following ambassadors:

    – Lenka Mihalikova, Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to the Sultanate of Oman

    – Pascal Huber Gregoire, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Sultanate of Oman

    – Alfred Gakuba Kalisa, Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to the Sultanate of Oman

    – Guy IBrahim Membourou, Ambassador of the Gabonese Republic to the Sultanate of Oman

    – Dang Xuan Dung, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Sultanate of Oman

    –  Vladimir Andres Gonzalez, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Sultanate of Oman

    – Nuno Vaultier Mathias, Ambassador of the Republic of Portugal to the Sultanate of Oman

    – Carlos Rodolfo Zapata, Ambassador of the Republic of Peru to the Sultanate of Oman

    – Saso Podlesnik, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to the Sultanate of Oman

    During their sidelines meetings with His Majesty the Sultan, the ambassadors conveyed greetings of their countries’ leaders and their best wishes of good health, happiness and a long life to His Majesty.

    They also wished the Omani people further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty. They also expressed their great honour and delight at presenting their credentials to His Majesty the Sultan. They affirmed to exert sincere efforts to promote relations of their respective countries with Oman in various spheres in a manner that serves the joint interests of the Omani people and their countries’ citizens.

    His Majesty the Sultan welcomed the ambassadors, expressing his gratitude for their leaders’ greetings and best wishes. His Majesty affirmed that they would receive all support from him, the Government and the Omani people to facilitate carrying out their duties.

    The credentials presentation ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, the Foreign Minister, the Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman, the Head of the Royal Protocols and the Military Aides to His Majesty the Sultan. – ONA
