    Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik begins his two-day visit to Qatar

    In a statement Oman news agency said: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik started a two-day ‘state’ visit to the State of Qatar, during which he will meet with his brother, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.

    This visit comes in response to the kind invitation received by the Sultan of the country from his brother, the Emir of the State of Qatar, and in order to strengthen the distinguished strong relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the sisterly State of Qatar, and to strengthen the bilateral ties between the two countries.
