His Majesty Sultan Haitham hosts dinner on the occasion of Armed Forces Day

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, hosted a dinner at Al Alam Palace this evening on the occasion of the Sultan’s Armed Forced (SAF) Day.

The ceremony comes as a felicitation by His Majesty, the Supreme Commander, to all military formations and units of the valiant Armed Forces on this glorious day. It symbolises his Royal recognition for their great dedication in performing the sacred duty to defend the homeland, protect its security and ensure its stability and safety.

It is a manifestation of the Sultan’s Armed Forces’ role in safeguarding the national achievements to retain Oman’s status as an oasis of security, harmony and peace under the wise leadership of His Majesty the Sultan.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, as well as some ministers, commanders of the Sultan’s Armed Forced (SAF), Royal Oman Police and senior military and civil officers. -ONA
