Muscat (ONA) : His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik received phone calls this from King Abdullah II Ibn Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Gen. Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, Chairman of the Sovereignty Council of Sudan and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces in the United Arab Emirates, to reassure themselves about conditions in Oman after the tropical cyclone / Shaheen / that hit the Sultanate.
During the calls, they stressed their countries’ solidarity with the Sultanate while it tackles impacts of the tropical cyclone. They also expressed their heartflet condolences and sympathies to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people on victims of the cyclone, praying to the Almighty Allah to rest their souls in peace in paradise and grant their families fortitude to bear the loss, and protect the Sultanate against all harms.
On his turn, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation for their kind gesture and sincere sympathies, praying to the Almighty Allah to protect them and people of their countries against all harms.
