Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received, separately, at Al Barakah Palace today 21 June 2023, credentials of Ambassadors of several countries appointed to the Sultanate of Oman.
His Majesty the Sultan received credentials of the following ambassadors
– Yahaya Lawal, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Sultanate of Oman
– Robert Rostek, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Sultanate of Oman
– Archbishop Nicolas Henry Marie Denis Thevenin, Ambassador of the Vatican to the Sultanate of Oman
– Bulgan Enkhtuvshin, Ambassador of Mongolia to the Sultanate of Oman
– David Velasquez Caraballo, Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Sultanate of Oman
– Mogobo David Magabe, Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa to the Sultanate of Oman
– Liselotte Plesner, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to the Sultanate of Oman
During their sidelines meetings with His Majesty the Sultan, the ambassadors conveyed greetings of their countries’ leaders and their best wishes of good health, happiness and a long life to His Majesty. They wished the Omani people further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty.
They also expressed their great honour and delight at presenting their credentials to His Majesty the Sultan. They affirmed to exert sincere efforts to promote relations of their respective countries with Oman in various spheres in a manner that serves the joint interests of the Omani people and their countries’ citizens.
His Majesty the Sultan welcomed the ambassadors, expressing his gratitude for their leaders’ greetings and best wishes. His Majesty affirmed that they would receive all support from him, the Government and the Omani people to facilitate carrying out their duties.
The credentials presentation ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, the Foreign Minister, the Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman, the Head of the Royal Protocols and the Military Aides to His Majesty the Sultan. -ONA
