    Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of greetings to President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva of the Federal Republic of Brazil, on the occasion of his country’s National Day.

    In the cable, His Majesty expressed his heartfelt sentiments and best wishes of good health and happiness for President da Silva. His Majesty also wished the friendly people of Brazil further progress and prosperity. – ONA
