Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has extended greetings to citizens, residents in Oman and the Islamic nation on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.

The Diwan of Royal Court issued a statement to this effect reading as follows:

“Upon the advent of the blessed Eid Al Fitr for the year 1445 AH, and, as devout Muslims who observed fasting during the holy month of Ramadan expressed joy at devotedly completing the ritual, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has extended greetings and congratulations to Omani citizens, residents in the land of Oman and the whole Islamic nation on this happy occasion.

His Majesty the Sultan wished Omani citizens and residents a happy time. He prayed to the Almighty Allah to accept their good deeds, make them witness many happy comebacks of this blessed occasion and similar occasions and grant them wellbeing and prosperity.

May the Almighty Allah bring back this auspicious occasion with abundant bounties and blessings for His Majesty the Sultan, many years ahead, and may all have peace and joy, each and every year!”    -ONA
