    Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik issued a Royal Decree No. 13/2022 restoring the Omani citizenship to 48 people

    The text of the decree came as follows:

    After perusal of the Basic Law of the State, and the Omani Nationality Law promulgated by Royal Decree No. 38/2014, and based on what the public interest requires.

    Article One: The Omani nationality shall be returned to all those whose names are mentioned in the attached list

    Article Two: This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and shall come into force from the date of its issuance.
