Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued a Royal Decree, the text of which follows.

Royal Decree No. 12/2222 approving the petroleum agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman, Al Majd Gas Development Company LLC and Shell Integrated Oman Gas Plc. In and Marsa Liquefied Natural Gas Company LLC and Shell Development Company Oman LLC for Area No. (10)

After perusal of the Basic Law of the State, the Oil and Gas Law promulgated by Royal Decree No. 8/2011, and the petroleum agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman, Al Majd Gas Development Company LLC and Shell Integrated Oman Gas B.V. In and Marsa Liquefied Natural Gas Company LLC and Shell Development Company Oman LLC for Zone No. (10) signed on December 21, 2021,

Article one
approves the aforementioned petroleum agreement.

second subject

The provisions of the aforementioned Petroleum Agreement shall apply regardless of any provisions to the contrary in laws, royal decrees or regulations in force in the Sultanate of Oman on the date this decree comes into force.

Article Three
This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and shall come into force from the date of its issuance.
