Muscat (ONA) : His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today issued three Royal decrees as follows:

Royal Decree No.18/2022 on amending Royal Decree No. 95/2020 defining the prerogatives of the Ministry of Information and endorsing its organizational structure.

Article (1) stipulates that the annex attached to this decree shall replace Annex No.2 of the aforementioned Royal Decree No 95/2020.

Article (2) cancels all that contradicts this decree or contravenes its provisions.

Article (3) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced on its date of issue.

Royal Decree No. (19/2022) on the appointment of an Undersecretary for the Ministry of Information.

Article (1) appoints Mohammed bin Said bin Mohammed Al Balushi as Undersecretary for the Ministry of Information, along with his existing grade and financial allocations.

Article (2) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its data of issue.

Royal Decree No. (20/2022) on extending the membership of the Oman Human Rights Commission.

Article (1) states that the membership of the Oman Human Rights Commission shall be extended till 31 December 2023
