His Majesty the Sultan issues two Royal Decrees

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik issued two royal decrees:

Royal Decree No. 36/2023 approving the exploration and mining concession agreement between the government of the Sultanate of Oman and Forsan Al Khaleej Mining and Trading Company B.S.C. M. M for area No. (21)

After reviewing the Basic Law of the State and the Mineral Resources Law promulgated by Royal Decree No. 19/2019, and the Exploration and Mining Concession Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Fursan Al Khaleej Mining and Trading Company B.S.C. M. M for Area No. (21) signed on March 2, 2023 AD, and based on what is required by the public interest.

Article one

Approval of the aforementioned exploration and mining concession agreement.

Article two

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and shall come into effect from the date of its issuance.

Issued on: 12 Dhu al-Qi`dah 1444 AH corresponding to 1 June 2023
