Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today issued two Royal decrees reading as follows:

Royal decree No. (88/2023) ratifies the agreement establishing the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector, signed in Jeddah on 3 November 1999.

Article (1) ratifies the aforementioned agreement in accordance with the version attached to this decree.

Article (2) states that the departments concerned shall deposit the document ratifying the aforementioned agreement in accordance with its provisions.

Article (3) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.

Royal decree No (89/2023) ratifies the agreement between the government of the Sultanate of Oman and the government of the Russian Federation on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of tax evasion with respect to taxes on income, signed in Muscat on 8 June 2023, and the protocol attached to the agreement.

Article (1) ratifies the aforementioned agreement and the protocol attached to it in accordance with the version attached to this decree.

Article (2) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its data of issue.          – ONA
