Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a cable of thanks and gratitude from the participants in Oman Environment Sustainability Conference, which was held in Muscat during 16-18 January.
In their cable, the participants expressed their utmost thanks to His Majesty the Sultan for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to them.
They lauded the development witnessed by Oman in the environmental sector and natural resources in light of the national priorities of Oman Vision 2040.
They also commended the Omani government’s efforts to come up with advanced solutions to protect people, address climate pollution and global warming, as well as promoting measures that aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
At the end of the cable, they prayed to the Almighty Allah to protect His Majesty the Sultan and grant him good health and wellbeing. They also wished the Omani people further progress and prosperity.
