His Majesty The Sultan Receives Written Message from President of Kazakhstan

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a written message from President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The message was handed over to HH Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, when he received in his office today Mukhtar Tileuberdi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, the guest conveyed greetings and best wishes of the Kazakh President to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people.

On his turn, HH Sayyid Asa’ad asked the guest minister to convey greetings and best wishes of His Majesty the Sultan to President Tokayev and the people of Kazakhstan.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and means of promoting them in various field. It also reviewed a set of matters of mutual interest.

The meeting was attended by Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, the Secretary General and the two advisors at the Office of HH Sayyid Asa’ad, as well as the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Oman and members of the delegation accompanying the guest. – ONA
