Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a written message from President Dr. Ebrahim Raisi of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The message deals with areas of cooperation between Oman and Iran in various fields.
It was handed over to His Majesty the Sultan by Dr. Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, when his Majesty gave him an audience at Al Barakah Palace today.
The Minister conveyed greetings of the Iranian President to His Majesty and the Omani people.
On his turn, His Majesty the Sultan asked the Minister to convey his sincere sentiments to President Raisi and the people of Iran.
During the audience, areas of joint cooperation in various fields were reviewed. Viewpoints were also exchanged regarding regional and international developments.
It was attended by Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister and Ali Najafi, Ambassador of Iran to Oman, and the delegation accompanying the Iranian Minister. – ONA
