Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will head for the United Kingdom tomorrow, according to a statement issued by the Diwan of Royal Court.

The statement reads as follows: “By the will of the Almighty Allah and in His divine care, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will leave for the United Kingdom tomorrow, Friday 16 September 2022, to offer condolences on the death of Queen Elizabeth II and congratulate King Charles III, King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Head of the Commonwealth, on the occasion of the monarch’s accession to the throne.

May the Almighty Allah protect His Majesty the Sultan, grant him good health and a long life and guard him as a source of inspiration for Oman Oman and its loyal people.”
