His Majesty’s greetings conveyed to Pope Francis

The Vatican: Mahmoud Hamad Al Hassani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Swiss Confederation, today presented his credentials to Pope Francis, Chief of State of the Vatican City, as Oman’s Non-Resident Ambassador to the Vatican.

The Ambassador conveyed His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik’s greetings and wishes of good health to Pope Francis, along with His Majesty the Sultan’s wishes of wellbeing for the people of the Vatican. The ambassador underlined the status accorded to coexistence, tolerance and peace in the Sultanate of Oman.

Pope Francis asked the Ambassador to convey his greetings and best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan. He wished Omani people further progress and prosperity.   – ONA
