HM the Sultan Sends Greetings to Sri Lanka on Independence Day
Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of greetings to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on the occasion of his country’s Independence Anniversary.
In the cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to the President and the friendly people of Sri Lanka for continued progress and prosperity in all fields. His Majesty also conveyed his wishes for further growth and advancement in the bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, in a manner that serves the mutual interests of the two countries.
