HM The Sultan meets Iran’s Supreme Leader

Tehran: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik met today with Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Revolution in the Islamic Republic of Iran at his office in Tehran. The meeting was attended by the Iranian President Dr. Ebrahim Raisi.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations. They underscored their keenness to enhance the historical relations between the two countries’ peoples.

The meeting also touched on several matters of mutual interest.

The meeting was attended from the Omani side by HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office and Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister.

Meanwhile, it was attended from the Iranian side by Dr. Hossein Amirabdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ehsan Khandozi, Minister of Economic and Financial Affairs (Head of the Mission of Honour), Ali Bagheri, Deputy Minister for Political Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ali Najafi Khoshroudi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Sultanate of Oman. – ONA
