Muscat: The revenues of 3-5 stars hotels in the Sultanate of Oman by the end of October 2023 recorded a surge by 27.8% to stand at RO 178.328 million, compared to the same period in 2022, according to the latest data issued by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT)
The number of guests in the 3-5 stars hotels increased by 28.9 percent to reach 1.650million, while the occupancy rate in those hotels reached 53.7% during October 2023 increased by 9.9 percent compared to the same month in 2022.
A noticeable increase in the number of visitors to Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve during the period from January to October 2023 by 40.5% compared to the same period last year. As total number of visitors reached 41,605 in 2023, compared to 29,602 in 2022.
