Housing Ministry refers several employees to Oman’s Public Prosecution

Muscat: The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planing (MoHUP) said that it has referred a number of its employees to the Public Prosecution for violation of the Housing Law procedures intentionally. In its third media dialogue for the year 2023.

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning (MoHUP) announced during press conference that it had received 91 reports in 2022 as part of the Ifsah (Disclosure) initiative.

The ministry stated that the reports it received, most of them outside the framework of the initiative and related to services and transactions, while 29 reports were dealt with within the ministry and resolved, and measures were taken to prevent their recurrence.
