    • Ibra Governorate organizes horse and camel racing festival

    Ibra: A horse and camel race and Omani arts festival was held today at Al Khandaq field in the Wilayat of Ibra in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, coinciding with the Sultanate of Oman’s celebrations of the 54th Glorious National Day.

    More than 500 horses and camels participated in the Ardha race, during which the knights displayed their skills on horseback, and a section on horse-hypnosis skills. The festival also included the presentation of Omani sung arts and poems expressing their happiness on this precious occasion.

    The festival was sponsored by His Excellency Mahmoud bin Yahya Al Dhahli, Governor of North Al Sharqiyah.
