Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth Launches Tazeez Workshops in A’Dhahirah

Ibri: Specialized workshops under the first phase of the Tazeez “Enhancement” Program commenced today at the Ibri Sports Complex in A’Dhahirah Governorate. The program is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth, with funding from OQ Exploration and Production, as part of its community partnership initiatives.

The two-day program aims to build the capacities of community teams, enhance their institutional efficiency, and support the community work ecosystem by focusing on administrative and media competencies, impact development, and the strengthening of community partnerships. These efforts contribute to achieving sustainability and improving the quality and effectiveness of community-based initiatives.

The first day featured two specialized workshops. The first focused on marketing and media, highlighting ways to empower community teams to showcase their activities and initiatives effectively through various media channels. The workshop addressed building a strong and influential presence across platforms, managing content professionally to reflect the teams’ community mission, and preparing integrated marketing and media plans that enhance outreach while attracting partners and supporters.

The second workshop addressed measuring social and economic impact, emphasizing methodologies for assessing and documenting the outcomes of community initiatives. It also explored ways to transform documented impact into tangible value that supports the sustainability of community work, alongside mechanisms for enhancing the credibility of community teams with funding and supporting entities.
