    Muscat: The Fisheries control team in Al Wusta Governorate seized an unlicensed fishing boat with drift fishing nets

    The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources said: “In continuation of the supervisory roles of the Fish Control Team, while carrying out its work on the coast of Ras Ruwais in the Wilayat of Mahout on Thursday 31/8/2023, the team was able to seize an unlicensed fishing boat with unlicensed enclosure nets. The nets were seized and legal measures are being taken against the violators.”
