Muscat: The northern governorates in the Sultanate of Oman today experienced moderate to heavy rains. In the Governorate of Muscat, rains fell in A’Seeb, Bausher, Al Amerat, Quriyat, Muscat and Muttrah.
As a precautionary measure, Al Amerat-Bausher Mountain road was closed to traffic.

In the Governorate of A’Dhakhiliyah, rains fell in the wilayats of Bidbid and Al Hamra.
In the Governorate of South Al Batinah, rains fell in the wilayats of A’Rustaq, Al Awabi, Nakhal, Wadi Al Ma’awil, Al Musanaa and Barka.
The rainfall in these governorates led to the overflow of some wadis.
