In Pictures: His Majesty the Sultan Offers Condolences to UAE President

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today offered his condolences to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), sheikhs, Al Nahyan Family and the Emirati people on the demise of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

During the meeting at Abu Dhabi Airport this afternoon, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his heartfelt sympathies, praying to the Almighty Allah to rest the deceased’s soul in peace in Paradise and grant Sheikh Mohammed, his family and the UAE people fortitude to bear the loss.

On his turn, the UAE President expressed his utmost thanks and appreciation for His Majesty’s sincere condolences and prayers. He prayed to the Almighty Allah to grant His Majesty good health and wellbeing and protect him and the Omani people against all harm. 

His Majesty the Sultan was accompanied by an official delegation comprised Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, HH Sayyid Fatik bin Fahar Al Said, Special Envoy of His Majesty the Sultan, HH Sayyid Taimour bin Asa’ad Al Said, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman, HH Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen, Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, Sayyid Bar bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Sufi, Head of the Private Office, Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat, Dr. Abdullah bin Nassir Al Harris, Minister of Information and Sayyid Ahmed bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the UAE.
