In pictures: Sultan’s Special Force Marks its Annual Day today

Salalah: The Sultan’s Special Force (SSF) today celebrated its annual day and the passing out of new batch of recruits.

The ceremony was held at the military parade ground in SSF Garrison in Zeek, Governorate of Dhofar, under the patronage of Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office.

Upon his arrival at the ground, Gen. Al Nu’amani was received by Maj.Gen Musallam Mohammed Ja’aboub, SSF Commander.

After that, the Royal Guard of Oman’s Music Band played that Royal anthem. Then, the graduates’ column saluted the chief guest, who inspected the front row.

Gen. Al Nu’amani pinned medals of excellent service and royal commendation on a number of SSF senior officers, as well as commissioned and non-commissioned officers.

The ceremony was attended by ministers, commanders of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), heads of military and security units in Dhofar, as well as SSF senior officers and retired senior officers.

On this occasion, SSF Commander pinned long service, good conduct and special service medals on a number of SSF commissioned and non-commissioned officers. -ONA
