Omani Interior minister meets Qatari counterpart, visits Lekhwiya camp
Doha: Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, met today with Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani, Minister of Interior of the sisterly State of Qatar, at the headquarters of the Qatari Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) camp.
During the meeting, they reviewed the strong fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to develop and enhance them in various fields, and exchanged views on a number of topics of common interest.
In conclusion, the Minister of the Interior toured the Internal Security Forces camp (Lekhwiya), during which he was briefed on the facilities and services in the camp, the technologies used, and the latest security equipment.
His Excellency also visited the shooting range, the multi-services building, and the medical services building, and witnessed a number of bomb squad displays, cavalry displays, and anti-aircraft forces, special unit and search and rescue group.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Mr. Ammar bin Abdullah Al Busaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Qatar.
