Interior Minister Receives Tanzania’s Inspector General of Police

Muscat: Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, received in his office today His Excellency Lieutenant General Camlius Wambora, Inspector General of Police of the United Republic of Tanzania, who is currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman.

During the meeting, friendly conversations were exchanged and the progress of relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Republic of Tanzania was reviewed, in addition to aspects of interest being discussed in order to enhance joint cooperation between the two friendly countries.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Engineer Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Abdullah bin Ali Al Harithi, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Operations, His Excellency Saud bin Hilal Al Shaythani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Republic of Tanzania.

It was also attended from the Tanzanian side by Hamad Khamis Hamad, Commissioner of Zanzibar Police, and His Excellency Fatima Mohammed Rajab, Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania to the Sultanate of Oman.
