Dhank: Construction work continues on the internal road paving project in the wilayat of Dhank in Al Dhahirah Governorate, where the project was divided into two phases. The completion rate in the first project was 80 percent and the second project was 27 percent.
Engineer Hassan bin Saeed Al-Mandhari, Director of the Municipality Department in Dhank, explained that the internal roads paving project will contribute to the smooth flow of movement between villages and towns in the state of Dhank, facilitate community communication between the people, create a healthy environment in getting rid of the effects of dust resulting from the previous use of dirt roads, and add an aesthetic touch to the state.
He added to the Oman News Agency that approximately 45 kilometers of internal roads are scheduled to be paved, distributed over a number of different areas in the state, most notably the city plan and the Al Baraka neighborhood.
