International students begin studying Arabic at the Sultan Qaboos Institute

The Sultan Qaboos Institute for Teaching Arabic Languages  to Non-native Speakers welcomed a new batch of international students, on Sunday. The new batch comprises 26 students from the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Poland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Austria, the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam, South Korea, Iran, Kazakhstan and South Africa.

The first day included an introductory session for members of the teaching and administrative staff and supervisors of the cultural program for this course. The students watched a detailed visual presentation introducing the Sultanate of Oman, its civilization, culture, and people, and the elements that make it a destination and destination for learning the Arabic language. Programs aimed at achieving direct communication with the community were also introduced. Local through trips, visits and various events.

The students will take a tour around the Wilayat of Manah to learn about its historical landmarks, which are the ancient Harat Al-Bilad and Al-Faqien Castle. The first introductory meeting will be held with the language partners of this course, which will contribute in parallel with the educational and cultural program in defining the civilizational identity and Omani culture, and in involving them in various events. .
