International Volunteer Day celebrated in Oman

Seeb: The International Volunteer Day was celebrated, organized by the Omani Women’s Association in Seeb in cooperation with the Office of the Governor of Seeb.

Wafa bint Ali Al Amriya, President of the Omani Women’s Association in Seeb, gave a speech in which she stressed the importance of volunteer work in Omani society, pointing to the efforts of male and female volunteers in the association and the civil volunteer teams in the Wilayat of Seeb.

The ceremony witnessed a visual presentation about the “Elegance Volunteering” campaign implemented by the Omani Women’s Association in Seeb last October.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the sponsor of the occasion, Sheikh Al-Muatasem bin Abdullah bin Khalfan bin Jamil Al-Siyabi, Deputy Governor of Seeb, honored a number of collaborators and supporters of the association’s programs and activities during the current year.
