Al Suwaih Tourist Park Features Camping Areas, Events Theatre and Restaurant
Jaalan Bani Bu Ali: South A’Sharqiyah Governorate today inaugurated Al Suwaih Tourist Park in the Al Suwaih area of the Wilayat of Jaalan Bani Bu Ali at a cost of RO 479,466.
The project spans an area of 41,497 square metres and forms part of efforts to develop tourism and recreational facilities in the governorate.
The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr. Yahya bin Badr Al Maawali, Governor of South A’Sharqiyah.
Dr. Al Maawali said that the project represents a model for directing development investments toward projects with sustainable impact that enhance resource efficiency and support quality of life in the governorate.
Saud bin Ali Al Hinai, Deputy Wali of Jaalan Bani Bu Ali, stated that the park includes seven shaded seating areas, a restaurant and five commercial shops covering a total area of 120 square metres.
The project also includes play areas, camping zones, an events theatre, health trails, service facilities, parking spaces and a modern lighting system.
Al Hinai added that the park targets families, youth, visitors and local investors through commercial and service opportunities linked to the site.
The project comes within the governorate’s plans to strengthen tourism infrastructure, stimulate economic activity and support community events and tourism development.
