    Muscat: One expat has been sentenced to 3 months of imprisonment and deportation for violating the Supreme Committee decisions.

    In a statement Oman Public Prosecution said: A first instance court in the North Sharqiya governorate has convicted a resident; For violating the decisions of the Supreme Committee in charge of examining the mechanism for dealing with developments resulting from the Coronavirus (Covid 19) not to wear a mask, and it ruled that he was imprisoned for (3) months and deported from the country.
