Unemployment rate fell by by 3.6% at the end of April, compared to 4.1 in March this year.
The rate of female job seekers recorded 12.1%, while the rate of males job-seekers was 1.6%, according to the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
The NCSI data indicated that the age group between 15-24 years is the most active among job-seekers with a rate of 13.8%, followed by the age group between 25-29 years with 6.9%.
Bachelor’s holders represent the highest category of job seekers in terms of academic qualifications at a rate of 10.7%, followed by higher education diploma holders at a rate of 8.9%, and a general education diploma and its equivalent at 5.8%.
