Salalah: Salalah Airport today received the first SalamAir flight originating from the Kingdom of Bahrain. SalamAir’s programme of operating flights from Bahrain seeks to enhance tourism movement during Dhofar Khareef (monsoon) season 2023.
Eng. Mohammed Ahmed Al Rawas, Acting Deputy Chairman of Salalah Airport, said that the existence of a route line between Salalah and Manama supports tourism in Dhofar Governorate and cements fraternal ties with the people of Bahrain.
Al Rawas hoped that this direct route will act as another source for activating tourism in the governorate during the monsoon.
Meanwhile, Captain Mohamed Ahmed, CEO of SalamAir, said that the first flight received a large turnout of travellers from the Kingdom of Bahrain to Salalah.
