Muscat: The Ministry of Labor, represented by the General Directorate of Labor in Dhofar Governorate, carried out inspection campaigns during the Dhofar Khareef season from June 21 to September 21, 2024. The campaigns resulted in the arrest of 1,594 violators, including 611 working in Omanized professions, and more than 600 job opportunities were provided for the national workforce.
The Ministry expressed its thanks to government institutions and private sector establishments for their cooperation in creating a decent and safe work environment.
The Ministry also stressed the importance of adhering to the provisions of the Labor Law and its regulations, stressing that this commitment contributes to facilitating the recruitment of job seekers in various fields, and enhances the attractiveness of the labor market for owners of small and medium enterprises.
