KR Eshraqa Foundation signs MoU with MoE and MoH

Pledges comprehensive infrastructure upgrades in Wilayat Muttrah

Muscat: In a significant step towards bolstering its commitment to community development, the Khimji Ramdas (KR) Eshraqa Foundation officially signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Ministry of Health (MoH). The ceremony, held under the patronage of His Excellency Al Munther Ahmed Al Marhoon, Wali Muttrah, marked a milestone in the KR Eshraqa Foundation’s ongoing efforts to enhance education and healthcare infrastructure in the Sultanate.

Under the MoU inked with Dr. Ali Humaid Al Jahwari, the Directorate-General of Education, Muscat Governorate, the KR Eshraqa Foundation is set to fortify the infrastructure of three schools: Al Walja School for Basic Education, Darsait School for Basic Education, and Al Amaal School for Basic Education. The Foundation’s support will encompass the installation of CCTVs, provision of sunshades, and the implementation of a state-of-the-art Public Address system, aimed at creating safer and more conducive learning environments for students.

Simultaneously, through a separate MoU signed with Dr. Thamra Said Al-Ghafri, Director General of Health Services of Muscat Governorate, the KR Eshraqa Foundation is poised to elevate the quality of medical services at Hai Al Mina Health Centre in Wilayat Muttrah. The Foundation’s contribution will include the donation of advanced dental medical equipment such as a Dental microscope, Obturation System, Broken Instrument Removal Kit, ProUltra Piezo Ultrasonic, Endo Motor, and Minis Apex Root locator, ensuring enhanced healthcare facilities for the local community.

Speaking on the sidelines of the signing ceremony, Nailesh Khimji, Director, Khimji Ramdas stated: “Through our partnerships with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health, the KR Eshraqa Foundation continues its mission to be a catalyst for positive change in communities. We believe that investing in education and healthcare infrastructure is fundamental to the long-term well-being and prosperity of society. These initiatives align with our goal of creating sustainable impact, and nurturing a better future for Oman, under Vision 2040.”

Dr. Ali Humaid Al Jahwari, Directorate-General of Education, Muscat Governorate mentioned: “Our collaboration with the KR Eshraqa Foundation marks a significant leap forward in our efforts to enhance educational facilities. The Foundation’s commitment to upgrading the infrastructure of three schools reflects a shared vision of creating a conducive learning environment for students. Dr. Thamra Said Al-Ghafri, Director General of Health Services of Muscat Governorate averred: “The KR Eshraqa Foundation’s support to improve the healthcare services at Hai Al Mina Health Centre is commendable.
